I worked on a part-time basis with Ascenta which is a consulting firm focused on connecting technology businesses in the U.S. and the Middle East. We were awarded a planning contract to design a technology park and venture capital fund for a $2 billion sovereign wealth fund in Abu Dhabi. That is linked to foreign defense contractors offset obligations. • I built the defense contractors offset credit distribution model and the venture capital fund’s asset allocation plan. • Determined what kind of technology companies would accept joint venture capital and open offices inside the technology park. • Explored partnerships in the financial services industry, with deal flow providers, and co-investors.

I provided consulting services around developing and coordination for investment programs, across asset management, real estate, and technology.• US Real Estate Developer: investment fund review, prospectus, and offering updates, to meet the needs of Islamic investors in the Middle East.• Private Aviation Management Company: feasibility studies for an Islamic aircraft financing fund and Middle Eastern investor demand.• US Private Equity Fund: investment fund review and Islamic adaptation, for a Malaysian pension fund.

Falah Capital created the NYSE listed Russell-IdealRatings US Large Cap ETF.• The ETF was operational and regularly traded on the exchange from October 2014 to July 2016. • During its operation, I oversaw the ETFs development, by liaising with legal, regulatory, and promotional groups for the exchange listing to occur. • Clients included Islamic retail investors, day traders, and financial advisors.• Seattle based but spent the majority of time in Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.

Cascade Risk Placement was a specialized real estate risk management and insurance firm. Our client base had holdings of over 25,000 commercial and residential properties. My role was to handle all aspects of institutional client identification and targeting. This included building a database of properties that passed our screen for size, value, location, and the owners’ traits. Additionally, statistical analysis and demographic studies were carried out, to understand marketing penetration rates better.
