As the VP, National Accounts, I work closely with healthcare organizations to deliver cost savings during the procurement process. I am fortunate to work with many large post acute healthcare systems as their trusted procurement advocate. Beyond dollars and cents, I am passionate about delivering data and analytics including PRD reporting and market analysis to provide my members with the roadmap to achieve successful operations. Being involved in the strategic processes surrounding data analytics, CRM and marketing allows me to be a critical thinker in finding solutions for my members.

During my career at Guardian Elder Care I held many roles. Originally hired as an Executive Director, Financial Services to manage the procurement strategies for their healthcare portfolio. Through contract management, business partner business reviews and procurement policies and technology I was able to successfully manage a multi-million dollar non-labor spend that met the organization budgets.Through professional growth opportunities, I also managed several ancillary divisions includinga healthcare staffing agency, developed a recruitment strategy and team, grew the organizations PA Department of Education approved Nurse Aide Training programs. During my growth in the organization, I also implemented a scheduling software program and provided training throughout the organization. This initiative increased my knowledge regarding healthcare staffing metrics and staffing challenges which helped with my role in the labor management team. To meet the needs of the organization portfolio of nursing homes and ancillary division, I lead a creation of a non emergency transportation division. We were able to successfully launch and manage multiple sites in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

As a Purchasing Consultant, I worked with healthcare facilities in PA, NJ, NY and New England. My large territory allowed me to network and connect with many wonderful caregivers. HPSI Purchasing Services provided the opportunity for me to gain procurement knowledge related to formulary management, vendor standardization, and contract negotiation. This knowledge coupled with dedicated work ethic afforded the opportunity to grow my membership, increase total revenue purchased through HPSI contracts and develop long term membership while meeting the needs of the members.

Punxsutawney, Pa

As the admissions and marketing director I was responsible for the admission process for the new residents at Mulberry Square. My role also provided the opportunity to meet with referral sources, geriatric network groups and social groups. These goals provided me with the professional growth opportunity to understand the needs and challenges in a long term care facility. Through this opportunity I was able to successfully meet the needs of residents and their families while meeting organizational census goals. Having the pleasure of meeting residents and their families while providing them with the care and comfort and required was very rewarding.

As the needs and focus of Guardian Long Term Care Pharmacy changed so did my roles. As the Director of Sales and Marketing I was tasked with growing sales and customers. When the organization decided to longer focus on new business, I oversaw the billing department for the pharmacy. The team was dedicated to ensuring accurate and timely billing to facility customers, resident representatives and insurance plans. Billing was also responsible for collections and accounts payable for the closed door long term care pharmacy.
