The practise of a NextGen Consultant involves integrating web scraping, data visualisation and coding to deliver research in more holistic ways to the client (e.g. web-based platforms, BI tools) and increase internal efficiencies. Responsibilities include:• Key client contact on flagship ad-hoc research projects for the company’s principal accounts.• End-to-end project management including proposal writing and research template design. • Synthesise research findings into meaningful deliverables and present to key client stakeholders.• Maintain project budget and timelines - Project Management.• Support in developing new business, especially linked to NextGen solutions.• Lead workshops, presentations and webinars to promote NextGen solutions across the business.

In my current role as a Senior Market Research Analyst (Technology & Innovation) at Euromonitor International I contribute to one of the leading strategic marketing tools „Passport“ made by Euromonitor.My focus lies on Digital Consumers (Internet of things) and Innovation throughout various industries.Further focus: Future Mobility, Artificial Intelligence.On top of that I analyse primary and secondary data with the help of internal and external research tools and produce strategic content pieces on regional basis. Industry related forecast models based on algorithm including soft drivers from top down as well as bottom up perspective round up the research methodology.Further I commission in-country analyst in the DACH region and conduct Top Down Analysis on German industry players (e.g. automotive industry).Recently, I increasingly deal with the question how far artificial intelligence can positively influence various business and industries. To be more concrete, from implications of machine learning and algorithm in general to self-teaching the basis coding language Python through online courses.

In a cross functional team of engineer, medical and business students we invented a "smart sock" which was helping patients who were suffering an Achilles tendon to get back on track faster. The prototype was supposed to decrease the time to recover by supporting the foot on the one hand and gathering data on the other hand, which was transferred to a smartphone app in real time.
