I was also a co-facilitator for the Writing with Purpose program which helps carers build writing and advocacy skills.

I designed and developed online tertiary units in a range of disciplines including the Humanities and Social Sciences. I also ran professional development workshops to support academics to translate academic research into plain language.

While the bulk of my work is with trade and education publishers, I also have experience editing professional journals and government publications.I offer a full range of editing services – from the bigger-picture structural edit though to pre-press proofreading and online usability checks – as well as content development and project management. I've also worked in multimedia since the 1990s: editing interactive games and eBooks, checking usability, and writing and editing content. My nonfiction writing includes freelance articles for professional journals and magazines, as a well as a book about sleep. I also mentor writers and was the Local Mentor for Ovens Murray in the Write-ability program in 2018–19, which supports writers with a disability.
