About Tom Karren

My most recent efforts have been high scale innovation projects in E-commerce and Blockchain for enterprise and startups.Co-Founded and lead the team at Moki, a leading platform for managing mobile devices deployed for dedicated commercial use cases and payments such as POS and Kiosk. Co-founded, grew, and successfully exited WingateWeb, an enterprise event management software technology company. Led and drove growth for enterprise divisions of acquiring entities. Supported merger and acquisition activity to win market segments in the event management industry. Founded a mobile application and cloud services development agency (Moki Networks / mCubedLabs) and assisted in the successful delivery of projects for numerous customers. Platforms used include iOS, Android, AWS, GAE, GCE, and many more. Investment, marketing, and sale, of a popular consumer-facing productivity application, (Appigo Todo) in the Apple App and Google Play stores. Service as a mentor, guest lecturer, and startup coach for various teams at the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Business. I hold a BS in Computer Science from BYU (1996), Associate Founder BYU Rollins Center @byucet (2007-2017). I'm passionate about startups, cloud and mobile technology, outdoor recreation, and family.
