As Business Intelligence Engineer 1, I am responsible for loading into CAS, MTV and PIMS via the APEX system. The APEX is used for the process of loading contracts into the payer systems for claims payment and providers in Humana’s directory. I work with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial products and networks expanding my knowledge for future growth at Humana. The Business Intelligence Engineer 1 describes the tools, technologies, applications and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present an organization's raw data in order to create insightful and actionable business information. I am responsible for understanding my own work area professional concepts/standards, regulations, strategies and operating standards. I make decisions regarding my own work approach/priorities, and follow direction. My work is managed and often guided by precedent and/or documented procedures/regulations/professional standards with some interpretation. I revise Facility arrangements and interpretations; followed by loading them into CAS and MTV via Apex. I develop and implement best practices to ensure accurate loading of facility contracts. I communicate with all system users and market office staff regarding inquiries, change in contracts, and system status reports. I research, identify, and correct contract loading errors to decrease claims payment issues.
