Greets members, takes beverage orders from the restaurant servers or directly from guests. Serves beer, wine, cocktails, and soft beverages in compliance with company standards. Brings an enthusiastic wealth of knowledge concerning liquor, beer, and wine to successfully sell and up-sell beverage options. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus and promotions. Creates seasonal cocktail menus to offer members fresh and exciting beverages. Checks identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Ensures a clean working space that is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests. Responsible for ordering, inventory or preparing purchase requisitions as needed to replenish beer, wine, alcohol, and other supplies.

Responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of catered events to a campus community of over 2,500 faculty and staff. Efficiently managed several concurrent projects while coordinating as many as seventeen events a day in a fast paced environment. Duties involved meeting with potential clients, event preparation, employee hiring, training, promotion, and (if necessary) termination, weekly scheduling, on-site management of event staff, creating custom centerpieces and relevant decor, coordinating necessary rental items, establishing and maintaining vendor relationships, and purchasing and inventorying perishable and non-perishable items.
