My DSWSEAS design was assigned a patent and I am a Co-inventor for US Patent No. 8439420 B2 Dual stage variable load energy absorber for vehicle seating.

Managed and developed hydraulic and air brake testing programs for Class 4 through 8 commercial vehicles. Responsible for defining tests, procuring parts, and scheduling personnel. Evaluated large vehicle programs; Low Cab Forward Brake Control Module; Full Power Brake System and ABS, Low Cab Forward ABS, ProStar ABS performance; Brake Foundations and Tires. Lead engineer for Death Valley Brake Fade testing.Created the test protocol for Vehicle Veer analysis, ABS ECU performance, Low Cab Forward Brake Control Module development and Tire performance. Designed the low coefficient test surface at the Indiana Proving Grounds.Served as design engineer for NGV (Next Generation Vehicle) program - Medium Duty, Severe Service cooling systems. Interfaced with suppliers on component development, system definition and engineering releases. Performed analysis to support Medium Duty Vehicle - V8 cooling system development, Star-CD Computational Fluid Dynamic software.
