Using its proprietary platform technology, CREATe Therapeutics is developing a new class of CNS therapeutics. Our small molecule-controlled gene therapy provides solution for a wide range of debilitating CNS diseases.

Main tasks:• Discussing studies with partners Aurigon may perform for them,• quote calculation, preparation, setting up short study design (e.g. ADME, toxicology and safety pharmacology studies according to OECD and ICH guidelines),• finding new cooperations and service opportunities,• participating marketing activities, giving presentations,Other tasks:• Evaluation of scientific literature, scientific writing upon request,• participating safety pharmacology (including GLP) studies,• introducing a new pharmacological method,• development of automated data processing (coding in Visual Basic),

(January 2013 - August 2014: Interim Group Leader)Main tasks of the Research Group:• Target identification and validation,• project initiation and support,• building and maintenance of the obesity portfolio,• measurements using validated obesity models,• preclinical model development (e.g. food addiction).Major achievements:• Redesigned task assignment principles,• led early phase drug discovery project,• planned and directed target identification campaign, including in vivo screen for dual MoAs,• increased work efficacy by self-developed Excel macros (e.g. automated animal grouping and experimental records).

May 2013: Distinguished research scientist.Main responsibilities:• Participate target identification,• project initiation and support,• preclinical method development.Major achievements:• Took part in the identification and development of a combination of generic drugs for the treatment of obesity. Our composition entered Phase I in 2013.• Took part in the initiation, organization and design of a human exploratory study.• Took part in the design of a theoretical and experimental system to identify good quality pharmacological targets.• Set up and validated two methods now serving as essential components of the workgroup's preclinical test battery (conditioned taste aversion and indirect calorimetry).
