I am an avid reader with a passion for storytelling and education. I hope to use my interests and skills to promote access to literacy. I am currently pursuing an MSEd in Literacy Studies with Reading Specialist certification from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. In May 2024, I concluded my service as an AmeriCorps member with Joyful Readers, tutoring 22 k-3 students in reading and literacy skills for the 2023-2024 academic year. Prior to that, I worked in psychiatric rehabilitation at Wedge Medical Center’s Recovery and Education Center as a Recovery Worker. I graduated from Temple University in 2021 with a BA in English, a minor in Criminal Justice, and certificates in Italian and Linguistics.
