About Thulaganyo Kodisang

I am an investment professional, who is passionate about merging entrepreneurship, finance, and impact.I am currently serving as an investment analyst at Untapped Global, which targets green economy and asset-backed technology businesses in Southern Africa and have 2 years’ experience in SME Debt from my previous role.Fresh from graduating with an Accounting Degree from UCT in 2021, I made a strategic leap into a Postgraduate program in Development Finance in 2023. My aim was to learn about alternative financing tools that can address the pervasive funding gap for SMEs as I began to intimately understand the driving factors of the challenge. I boast an entrepreneurial mindset that is continuously evolving and is shaped by my involvement in several start-up ventures dating back to my student days and continuous interactions with business owners throughout my career. Notably, I was a participant in the Launch lab incubator and a top 10 finalist at The Pitch (University of Cape Town) 2020 competition.Currently based in Cape Town, South Africa.
