Hello! I'm Tyler Porter, a Business Analytics major at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Born and raised in Bowling Green, Kentucky, I've always been driven by a love for learning, which was instilled in me by my parents, both lifelong educators. I am always looking for creative ways to serve others.I've been fortunate to gain hands-on experience through a range of internships that have pushed me out of my comfort zone and across continents—from advertising revenue accounting at Warner Bros. Discovery, to consulting and analytics with a small business firm in London, to merchandising at Pilot Company. In every role, I’ve honed my technical skills in tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau. I am actively learning SQL and R to continue my development. Beyond the numbers, I’ve developed a passion for storytelling, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.Outside of class, you'll find me involved with the Haslam Student Advisory Council, serving as a Student Alumni Associate, and contributing to the Project Inspire Podcast. I can also be found behind a camera or in the studio helping broadcast sports from Rocky Top with the SEC Network.
