Leading an internal IT team of three people to develop a new application for managing payroll. We were building a greenfield application with modern stack. Part of the project was writing batch integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 API in Kotlin.Part of my JD was also discussing the product with the final users (finance department) I also led 1on1's with my team members, to ensure their hapiness and development and led team restrospectives.

For the first project I was working on an application that helps people consolidate their finantial situation. I was resposible for building API with Kotlin, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQLNext project consisted of building bank on greenfield. I was mainly using Kotlin, Micronaut, Kafka, PostgreSQL.After that I was part of internal IT team developing ETL system to act as a "brain" of a company. Our job was to integrate different APIs tohether.

I was Lead Organizer of Central European Congress, an AIESEC conference for international AIESECers. With my team of 7 other people, I was final responsible to make sure our partners, delegates and facilitators will have smooth experience during the three days.In the end we managed to have 110 delegates from 11 countries. As a part of the congress a series of workshops in schools were organized where we impacted more that 1000 students with project EAT4CHANGE.

Being part of two separate teams, I helped deliver two national conferences each for ~80 people.First in spring, as team member responsible for Delegate ExperienceSecond in autumn as team leader of team of four.

In this role, I was the final responsible for direction of the local committee, for plan fulfillment, external relations (city, university, Alumni) and budget fulfillment.I was leading team of 3 Vice presidents, who were responsible for their functional areas. Marketing and brand of AIESEC on local level. I was responsible for offline and online campaigns and brand recognition.During the corona times, I was leading team that was organizing "Cestuj z gauča" - online series of 6 events for public, where AIESECers from around the world shared their home culture and customs. We had an average attendance of 45-50 people per event.I was also in the team that created "Mosty kariérnych príležitostí" - event in cooperation with I AMbitious and Open HR Forum Students that aims to establish the dialogue between youth and prosessionals from Slovakia. We had 150+ registrated people on event with attendance of 82.This position taught me that even in times uncertainity, we should always seek for an opportunity.

This experience involved setting the recruit, selection and onboarding strategy for 85 candidates from which 17 were selected.The next part was providing education for 3 team leaders in the field of team managenent.Lastly I was in charge of organizing common touchpoints.At this position I fully realized how important organizational culture really is and how does it connect to productivity of people.

My responsibility was to delegate and track sales process for 3 schools and ensure logistics of 18 international volunteers in Bratislava.I learned that every project needs a timeline and clear action steps for it to be succesfully executed.

I work with workflow management system Petriflow based on PetriNets. The flexibility and fast learning is an absolute must as I have covered the whole development cycle from the first meeting with a client to support of an application in production.The consulting part of the job consists of analysing and discussing business requirements from customer, coming with the solution in Petriflow system that could be implemented. At this position I found the passion to solve the problems. The biggest project I was consulting was an internal processing application for an health insurance company.The development part consisted of programming in Java / Groovy, backed by MongoDB + ElasticSearch. I had a chance to also work with AngularJS for the frontend part. This part also included presentation of the prototypes / final solutions to the customer.Lastly as an support for the project I've been dealing with bug analysis and project maintenance.

This was the first real experince working for a company. I had to quickly learn and adapt to the new concepts that were insustry standard as working with Git, Maven, JIRA, Spring, Jaspersoft studio, reading documentation of an actual project...I was the part of the team that was resonsible for the support of an application and I learned as much as possible from older coleagues which were helpfull and introduced me to the business standards.The last two months consisted of working on an frontend application in ExtJS, in which I was responsible for migrating to the newer version of ExtJS. This was highly challenging experience as I had to learn the new framework from the scratch in the time frame of days.I would confidently say, that this experience truly showed me how does industry differs from the school education and that there is so much to explore and so many people to learn from.
