Data scientist with focus on data visualization and product design. Workshop facilitator, speaker. Translator between analytics, UX and business needs. At the ETH Library, I extract insights about quantifiable aspects of science, which later help research managers with setting up the right strategy, aligned with the values, and contribute to setting up a framework of responsible research assessment at the ETH Zurich. I am a lead of a project "Towards Open Bibliometric Indicators", where we evaluate the quality of open datasets of scholarly metadata. I am teaching data visualization for analysts, data scientists, researchers and software developers. I teach a regular course "Data visualization for AI and Machine Learning" at HSLU and host tailor-made workshops on data visualization and advanced analytics.I accept freelance assignments in data science, connected to advanced analytics and data storytelling.
