Providing technical support (mainly structural side) during Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of narrow body jets, i.e. A320 family, Boeing 737 & 757.Key Jobscope- Providing technical support to MRO technicians and customers during C-checks, modifications, bridging checks and end-of-lease operations.- Assuring airworthiness and reliability of aircraft during heavy maintenance checks.- Ensure aircraft meets turn around time as required by customer airlines.- Recommend repair scheme for structural damage found.- Liaising with OEMs ( i.e. Airbus, Boeing) for guidance of technical disposition on issues which are beyond the scope of maintenance data available (SRM, AMM, CMM).- Generate aircraft weight & balance report to ensure proper loading of the aircraft for continued airworthiness.

Intern at NUS Satellite Technology and Research Centre (STAR), a joint venture between DSO and NUS. Worked on a project to design and build a Center of Gravity (CG) Measuring Instrument for satellites built by STAR. Key Jobscope:- Carry out literature review and market research on existing CG measuring techniques and solutions.- Sourcing for key components of instrument (i.e. load cell, metal fabrication, etc.)- Conduct performance analysis of load cell configuration on MatLab to determine optimum load cell placement.- Design parts for fabrication on Solidworks and conduct static analysis on components using Solidworks Simulation.- Design GUI for the instrument calibration and data logging using LabView.- Assemble and test the instrument to improve accuracy, repeatability and user friendliness.
