• Provided consulting and due diligence services to companies seeking to acquire, divest, or invest in American O&G land assets.
• Assisted Linc Energy with post-bankruptcy land and regulatory functions, including bond release efforts for Gulf Coast, Wyoming, Alaska, and clean energy assets. Released $4M+ in bonds.
• Completed due diligence services for acquisition deals worth up to $470M, spanning 160K+ net acres.

• Oversaw day-to-day operations for all U.S. O&G assets, including asset and contract obligation management, process improvements, system implementations/maintenance, and department structure.
• Managed, monitored, and tracked multi-million-dollar budget while handling contract negotiations, title coverage, curative requirements, first purchaser relations, landowner relations, and dispute settlements.
• Coached and mentored five direct reports and up to five contract field landmen during peak drilling period by providing continuous learning opportunities and employee evaluations.
• Maintained key contracts with state/local government agencies including Texas General Land Office, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department, U.S. Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Corps of Engineers.
• Spearheaded timely P-5 bond renewal process. Implemented company’s first regulatory tracking system to avoid severance violations, need for outside counsel, and associated costs.
• Saved company $136K after exposing and ending contractor’s unnecessarily billing of P&A well searches.

• Charged with completing all due diligence and property title clean-up efforts. Directed field brokers and collaborated with key partners such as EOG Resources and Chesapeake Energy to manage JV projects.
• Successfully negotiated settlements and royalty disputes internally; saved company $100K+ in fees.
• Efficiently acquired 15K+ feet of pipeline within deadlines and budgets for key partner.

• Developed and maintained 60K+ gross (46K+ net) acres in James Lime and Haynesville Shale plays in East Texas. Organized lease and landowner data for a 25-square-mile seismic shoot.
• Proposed drill site and lateral configurations for horizontal gas units; saved company $10K+ in lease maintenance, legal, and regulatory costs. Administered department’s land data system.
