  Contracted Reinforcement Learning Engineer (Independent Study)

  As a Software Engineer during my Independent Study with Professor Alfredo Weitzenfeld, I collaborated with the BioRobotics Lab to design a Reinforcement Learning program for a two-wheeled robot simulation to accurately kick a ball toward a goal. This project was developed as part of the USF RoboBulls initiative.• Utilized version control systems like Git to access and update the robot model, regularly pulling the latest sensor configurations and motion algorithms.• Designed the AI model using TensorFlow’s PPOAgent library, achieving a 75% success rate during the first stage of development.• Revised the code in the USF RoboBulls main repository using PyCharm’s debugger, reducing runtime complexity to O(n) and cutting execution time by 10 minutes.• Collaborated with the Project Supervisor on Jira to streamline the program, providing weekly documentation on project specifications and future developments
