The same big-picture view he put into his architecture translated in an awesome way to management. For years, he worked closely with the Product team, led SCRUM meetings each week, broke down tasks, and took engineers to task to constantly perform at their highest level. He was equally adept at working across teams, with QA, and with executive management.
