As a seasoned corporate finance, real estate, and capital markets professional with nearly 15 years of investment banking and equity research experience, Tom Lesnick is an expert in navigating complex transactions and guiding executives through pivotal strategic and investment decisions. His efforts have facilitated the raising of over $25 billion in institutional capital for a diverse real estate clientele, ranging from large, public REITs to private, closely-held sponsors across all property types.Before establishing Admiral Real Estate Advisors, Tom served as a Vice President in Truist’s Real Estate Corporate and Investment Banking group, focusing on REIT investment banking and private capital advisory. His prior roles include positions in investment banking and equity research at Baird, D.A. Davidson, and Capital One, where as a Director and Senior Equity Research Analyst he led coverage of Apartment, Industrial, Office, and Student Housing REITs.Tom earned a BBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, graduating with Honors in Finance. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and Series 7, 63, 79, 86, and 87 registrations with FINRA. He currently lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and two sons.
