I was a member of the HW Test Team which tests all of AT&T's consumer-facing products including broadband gateways, wired and wireless network devices, outdoor antennas, and in-home distribution accessories.• Lead test engineer for new fiber broadband gateway product and several digital LNB (outdoor receiver) products• Coordinates cycle testing within HW Test Team's subgroups (Wi-Fi, Coexistence, General)• Reviews, executes, and provides feedback on the test procedures • Analyzes test results & makes recommendations to Product Development Team• Documents results from tests performed and communicates the results to product managers and OEM partners• Writes clear and precise defect reports as required for identified hardware defects based on test results using JIRA and HP Quality Center.• Tested common RF parameters (gain, noise figure, BER, MER/SNR, IMD, phase noise) using FSK, 8PSK, & QPSK signals• Automated manual RF tests using VB.NET using a variety of connection technologies (GPIB, VISA, TCP/IP, RS-232/485, and USB). Ran BIST scripts on set top box SoC's.• Familiar with and/or automated the following test equipment: Temperature chambers, RF vector signal analyzers, vector signal generators, Power Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and network traffic generators (IXIA, Spirent) and software tools (Wireshark, iperf, etc)
