CurrentSAMPLING.-Supervised and coordinates laboratory samples.-Planning and organizing fields trips - Plan, arrange and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly site selection schedule for the sampling location that fell within mine catchment for microbiology and water chemistry sampling.-To design and coordinate activities related to the laboratory working area designated to aquatic bio monitoring and field studies.- To coordinate routine and special research investigations related to source water protection.LABORATORY COMPLIANCE AND QUALITY SYSTEM.- To publish, compile reports and make presentations on selected findings undertaken related to aquatic biomonitoring and ensure that a literature database related to aquatic biomonitoring is developed and kept up to date.-Development of water quality objectives and water qualify monitoring activities.- Collate and intergrate specialists’ reports for compilation of research projects for Biosel Laboratory Solution Catchment Management section and other clients.- To ensure that data and results of all the routine and special research investigations are available on electronic and hard copy format in a well organized database system.- Warn management in a pro- active manner of non- compliance with regards to biomonitoring.-Accurately maintain and update manual and automated records and logs.
