While under contract was tasked with delivering a full analysis of the existing on-premises BizTalk and MuleSoft environments for transitioning to Azure Integration Services. While under contract for IBM’s client Westinghouse Nuclear, was responsible for management, design, and development of existing Hr, payroll, and MES/ERP BizTalk applications. The integrations are across multiple SAP systems and SAP/PI integrations, these to include Ariba as well as proprietary payroll and HR systems. This using BizTalk 2013 and 2016.

While under contract for Belco, the only utilities company in Bermuda was brought in to recommend the upgrade of their Maximo – SAP integrations. Guided Belco resources in the Best Practices for leveraging the Microsoft.Practices.ESB and it's toolkit. Designed, developed, deployed, and Documented the integrations for the collection and dissemination of data collection between Maximo and SAP that is the core for Belco's Automated Meter Reading (AMR) the entire populations of Burmuda.This was done on BizTalk 2013 R2 with a SQL 2012 backend. Installed and configured the ESB Portal, customized SQL triggers for port monitoring, my customized PowerShell deployment and maintenance of the BizTalk environment and SQL, custom windows service that monitors the health and activity along with a notification system when any suspended messages occur. This being outside the notification system in the ESB Portal.

While under contract responsible for the analysis and design for Integrations with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. The integrations included iSeries, AS400, ORACLE, JDE, and a number of in house applications that use SQL SERVER 2012 AND 2016. Microsoft BizTalk Server 2013 R2 & 2016 were used across the enterprise.

While under contract and then as a full-time employee was responsible for the coordination of BizTalk interface design, builds, and deployments including the full architectural design of the end to end application interfaces. This included the design and implementation of web services, as well as APIs and Restful service integration into the middle ware integrations environment. Other responsibilities included the installation, configuration, development, implementation, and administration of BizTalk Server, Business Activity Monitor (BAM), BRE, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). ESB 2.0 and 2.1 is used specifically for itinerary based routing through custom recipient tables, Itinerary resolvers and BRE resolvers. This encompasses not only the physical production infrastructure, but the development, Disaster Recover, Load, QA, and staging environments. Also was responsible for all enterprise-wide planning, design, development, and implementation of BizTalk 2009, 2010, and/or 2013.

While under contract advised and implemented a core Enterprise Service Bus using BizTalk 2013 and Microsoft ESB toolkit 2.2. The ESB initiative was implemented to support the vision of the Business to move all 700+ integrations from BizTalk 2006 R2 into the Next Generation BizTalk Server 2013. The ESB pattern(s) implemented were designed to be the architectural landscape moving forward. This BizTalk 2013 Application allows the Business to leverage the Development staff in a proactive manner. The ESB Architecture created allows the development team in implement integrations with a fraction of the work. This system was designed to leverage an Itinerary based integrations. The patterns implemented were message context, routing slip, scatter-gather, splitter, and recipient list. The supporting databases run on SQL Server 2012 in a Windows Server 2012 environment. Further responsibilities included the full design and implementation of all endpoints as well as the full architectural design, coding, implementation as well as deployment using custom PowerShell scripts designed and written by myself.

While under contract was responsible for the creation of a new Architectural design approach to the integration of SimonMed’s existing internal back office Electronic Medical Records applications and their customers. These integrations allowed for the seamless transfer and synchronizations of all SimonMed subscribers (doctors’ offices, labs, Radiology and medical devices) to SimonMed’s Database of Record (DOR). As part of this EMR system there is also the messaging infrastructure supporting transfer and retrieval of patient medical records to and from third party systems such as eClinical, AllScripts, Epic systems, etc… This was accomplished through the installation and configuration of a distributed BizTalk 2013 environment. The architecture is based upon the use of the highly efficient and scalable SOA scenarios. The core leverages the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) wherein the architectural design was my main responsibilities. This included the guidance and mentoring of the onsite teams.

While under contract with Preferred Resources Inc. advised and implemented Best Practices for the Health, Maintenance, Development, and Deployment of Applications for their BizTalk 2010 environment. Initial responsibilities included the stabilization of the BizTalk environment as well as the Installation and configuration of their new Data center and Disaster recovery. The goal of this contract was to implement multiple integrations between Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX and there existing in house Oracle systems. To accomplish this I was responsible for the Architectural design and implementation of an interim web service that was the communication hub between BTS, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics ERP, and Microsoft Dynamics AX.

While under contract advised, mentored staff, and implemented: Best Practices for the Health, Maintenance, Development, and Deployment of Applications for their BizTalk 2010 environment. Initial responsibilities included the stabilization of the BizTalk environment as well as the Installation and configuration of their new Data center and Disaster recovery. Also designed, developed, and implemented BizTalk applications for their financials. This entailed the integration of their SAP IDOC invoices as well as Payables between multiple financial institutions. (Bank of America, Toronto Dominion, and Deutsche Bank., etc…) All transactions were accomplished using IDOC to EDI mappings. These systems process an average of 70 million dollars a week. The core BizTalk implementations were designed using an itinerary based paradigm. This allowed the client to implement new integrations in a third of the time.

While under contract with a major HMO created the base architecture for a public facing site using MOSS. Custom web parts were created for the integration with the disparate data sources and communications between related web parts. Data integration and dissemination uses BizTalk 2009 HL7 w/MLLP adapter for all messages. This site is utilized by consumers and Ascension to collect and monitor biometric data. Users have the ability to invite family members to view different levels of data. This allows the HMO to have triggering Business Rules (BRE) for early intervention by healthcare providers. The data collection devices will be marketed by one of the largest retail electronic chains in America (Best Buy).

While under contract with a major HMO was responsible for the creation and implementation of an EDI B2B solution that processes 837, 834, 227, 228, 997 EDI transactions. This solution utilizes a BizTalk 2006 R2 in conjunction with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), with a SQL Server 2005 back-end.

While under contract with SPP installed, configured, and integrated MOSS 2K7 with Project Server 2K7. This integration included creating several VMs in a clustered environment. Custom web parts, written in C#, were implemented for prioritized integrations with Portfolio Manager. Other responsibilities included mentoring the internal client resources on creating web parts and modifying the site in general.

While under contract with Dell put together the infrastructure, installations, and configurations for Commerce Server 2007 and MOSS 2007 integration in a clustered SQL Server environment with CS2007 and MOSS in a server farm. This integration was setup to allow for an online store that will sell downloadable and shrink wrap software. The core site will also allow for outside clients to use the portal to sell their own software. The portal also is configured to allow clients to customize their site with their own branding.

While under contract was responsible for architectural analysis of their existing BizTalk 2006 infrastructure, Best Practices, and BizTalk Server installation/configuration. Delivered a custom BizTalk event handler, designed to allow developers to publish and subscribe to BizTalk Events. Other tasks included the creation of orchestrations allowing for the integration of a legacy VB6 application with a Siebel mirror application. Additional responsibilities included the mentoring of existing resources in BizTalk 2006 and C#.

While under contract was responsible for architectural analysis of their existing BizTalk 2006 and SharePoint 2007 environment and make recommendations for improvements. Also evaluated and made recommendations for all orchestrations. Delivered detailed architectural analysis white paper for both.

BizTalk 2002 - 2004 integrations.

While under contract was responsible for redesigning and implementing the core infrastructure of a clustered server farm that supports BizTalk, SQL Server, and SharePoint in a distributed environment. Additional responsibilities included the analysis, redesign, and implementation of 15 orchestrations. Created Workflows in BizTalk. Other responsibilities included the creation of multiple Web parts for inclusion into SharePoint 2007. These Web parts were created to interface with a custom component written in C# that is a rapper around the BAM API, giving visibility to every published event that occurs within a transaction. This also included the redesign of 12 integration components for use in BizTalk 2004 from a 2002 environment.

While under contract was responsible for the installation and configuration, in a distributed environment, Commerce Server 2007, BizTalk, and SharePoint Portal 2007. Additional responsibilities included the installation, configuration, and customization of a starter site that included the customization of various pipelines. C# was the used as the code base. While under contract designed and developed multiple BizTalk 2006 Orchestrations that act as the conduit for the receipt and dissemination of Global news items. Accomplishments also include the design and development of Web Services, Windows Services, and remoting applications that are consumed by multiple Enterprise applications. Designed and developed multiple APIs that are the foundation for an Event Broker that leverages the BAM Eventing infrastructure. The Event Broker is designed for the publishing and subscribing of enterprise level events through the use of the BAM APIs. The system is written in C#, leveraging multiple Enterprise Library Application Blocks, including the Data Access Block, Logging and instrumentation Block, Configuration Block, and the Facade Block. Other responsibilities included the overall strategic direction for the redesign of the legacy systems used by the AP for gathering the news, distributing the news, and the storage and retrieval of historical news items.

While under contract with Honeywell acted as the BizTalk Architect on 6 integrations. These integrations included the supervision of 5 other BizTalk projects. All underlying code was written in C#. The integrations entailed the implementation of multiple preprocessing components as well as Application Integration Components. With the implementation came the opportunity to implement numerous Web Services into the integration as well as MSMQ, Rules Composer, Business Activity Services (BAS), Health and Activity Tracking (HAT), and Business Activity Manager (BAM). These integrations brought together 6 disparate applications through data integration between Siebel, SQL Server, and Oracle Financials. The core operational support is provided by a custom SharePoint Portal, delivering all aspects of all the integration to the endpoints.

While under contract with Command Online was responsible for the redesign of their existing SQL Server database, the rewrite of their existing front end from Delphi to .NET, and the creation of a SharePoint portal. This portal was designed to utilize Business intelligence Dashboards and Scorecards for real time reporting on the status of each business unit, leveraging custom web parts that incorporated SQL Server Reporting services. Supporting the Reporting Services were numerous cubes built with Analysis Server. The portal authentication was accomplished using Active Directory.

While under contract for the City Of Phoenix, Water Services Department (COPWS) was responsible for the architectural design and coding of a Win forms client application. This application is used for the central repository of all COPWS new services, meter installations, and work orders. The application was written using VS.NET in C# the data base is SQL Server 2000 with SharePoint Portal as the reporting service.Phase II responsibilities were to create multiple orchestrations using BizTalk 2004. These orchestrations use SQL Adapter for retrieval of an XML document that is sent to a Web Service Web Method that transfers the information to the partner’s database. The Web Method returns an EAI TransactionStatus object that is then persisted in the form of a response to the sender’s database. When the data sent is acted upon subsequent orchestrations are enlisted to return the data in its completed state, using the same methodology.

While under contract, was responsible for the architectural design and coding of a Smart Client application layer. This layer controls the underlying business logic, connection management, cache management, and UI controller. The architectural design entailed the delivery of an object model as well as sequence diagrams, using Visio Enterprise Architect. This design implements multiple design pattern methodologies, including Command, Memento, Observer, and Factory, to name a few. All code is written in C#.

While under contract, implemented a component based architecture for the archival and retrieval of digitized medical claims and provider contracts. These components facilitate the communications between the client and Tuxedo services running on a UNIX system. This base architecture is now being pursued as their best practice. The construction of the core components were written in Visual Basic 6.0. These components are now the core objects of their claims and provider contracts workflow. Another responsibility was to implement multiple messaging solutions for X12 EDI transactions. These BizTalk implementations mapped X12 EDI documents to XML using XSLT. The custom components allowed for the dissemination of X12 information through XML to SQL Server and Oracle databases. Also put in place parallel solutions using the HIPPA accelerator for BizTalk 2004. The orchestrations were created and set for deployment for the time when the client was to upgrade to BizTalk 2004 from BizTalk 2002.Additional responsibilities included guidance to the Enterprise Architecture team in the pursuit of a .Net Architecture.

As a Level III Solutions Architect, my responsibilities were wide ranging. These responsibilities included the following.• Supervision of junior and senior level .Net development teams.• Mentoring of said team members• Creation of Architectural designs for .NET migrations of Microsoft DNA applications, using subsets of Rational Unified Process (RUP), Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), along with Avanade’s Connected Architecture (ACA)• Mentoring the client and underlying team members in the implementation of SharePoint.• Estimating implementation and resource loading• C level Client interactions • Development in C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET.

The existing application is a web based application that is written using ASP, Visual Basic 6.0, COM+, and a SQL Server back-end. It is used for B2B and B2C commerce where some clients are in a different locale. The applications core pipeline is based on Commerce server 2002, using custom pipeline components that analyze campaign types, direct mailings and content. The front end language was locale centric. The entire application, using UTF8-UTF16 conversions, stores and displays multi-language data. The localization is controlled by SQL Server and onsite translators. All currency is also controlled through localization. Client catalogs and orders are able to be delivered via BizTalk in an EDI format.My responsibilities included leading 15 enhancement projects for the existing application as well as completing 3 of them myself. This team was composed of 7 high level developers. In parallel, an effort to optimize the existing code to function at a level that was 20-30 times faster was occurring. This was accomplished by replacing the existing heavily trafficked pages with .NET versions. By using the Dataset class in ADO.NET, C#, and the optimization of Stored Procedures (SQL Server 2000) proved to be the most effective manner in which to accomplish the goals. By using the Dataset in conjunction with the Data Relation object we were able to return an in memory data structure that gave the ability to persist data in an efficient manner.

FNIS is a majority-owned subsidiary of Fidelity National Financial (FNF), the largest title insurance and diversified real estate related Services Company in the nation. FNF's title insurance underwriters -- Fidelity National Title, Chicago Title, Ticor Title, Security Union Title and Alamo Title -- together issue approximately 30 percent of all title insurance policies nationally. The company provides title insurance in 49 states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Canada.SoftPro Corporation offers a complete library of programs for automating the closing and title process. The company also provides modules for order tracking and management, trust account management and reconciliation, custom forms design, 1099-S magnetic media reporting, title plant indexing, and amortization schedules.This shrink wrap suite of applications is written using MFC C++, leveraging the DocView framework. All data is stored in a proprietary binary format. The goal of the project was to define and document the clients existing architecture and create a new architecture that would allow for its migration to a purely .NET version, using C#. Additionally, the binary data was migrated to SQL Server 2000 data structure. Responsibilities included the creation of the data structure, optimization paradigms, stored procedures, and an offline SQL replication methodology. This was accomplished by creating a series of documents that is a road map for a phased implementation using a sub-set of RationalXDE’s inception phase. Additional responsibilities included the creation of a detailed estimate and resource load proposal.

The first project completed was a search engine and catalog system that facilitates the sales of used equipment. This system generates 30 million dollars in revenue on a monthly base. This system was written in ASP utilizing custom COM+ objects that interface with a SQL Server 2000 back end, using a n-tier architecture.In addition to the foregoing, designed and developed an online rental system that is currently being used by RSCs strategic customers. This system was written using Commerce Server 2000 and then migrated to 2002 (CS) and SharePoint 2000 Beta. The CS services that were included in this implementation are: Direct Mailer, Discounts, Campaigns, and the Predictor. Through the use of the predictor designed a dynamic content manager component that would analyze customer activities and apply them to the configurable rules engine, displaying and implementing customer specific campaigns and discounts. COM objects were written to facilitate the real time processing of transactions to the clients AS400. All DB2 data was pulled using SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS). Additional transactional capabilities are in place for the orchestration of strategic orders to the commerce application utilizing a BizTalk application integration component (AIC). This component has the ability to recognize any EDI document defined in proprietary configuration tables. The AIC is instantiated and passed the requisite data for transmission to the Commerce Server application. Upon the acceptance of the order a PO is returned to the customer. All Components and Services were written using Visual Basic 6.0. Through the customization of the SQL Server data structure and stored procedures and we were able to forgo Commerce Servers inconsistencies with data replication and optimizations. Other responsibilities included the mentoring of RSCs development staff in the proper methodologies of design and development in the Commerce arena.

Responsibilities:• Gathered requirements and the created corresponding Use Cases, object models, and flow diagrams• Wrote an XML listener/message broker JAVA Servlet on an Apache serverThe listener is designed to intercept incoming XML messages originating from Webridge (a tool for deploying existing business processes to the Web). Upon the receipt of said messages the listener, through pattern matching, determines the business rules that are applicable and populates the appropriate ORACLE iStore interfaces with the message content.

While under contract, implemented enhancements and resolved operational trouble reports for Ryland’s CRM solution. The homebuilder CRM solution is designed to help Ryland create a buying experience for its customers. Through a single interface, Ryland employees access a central repository of customer, prospect and community information and augment customer data based on local market needs and expertise. The core of the system is the Onyx customer relationship management system (CRM). The system was written in ASP utilizing custom COM+ objects interfacing with a SQL Server 2000 back end. Client side JavaScript is heavily leveraged for this implementation. The Onyx system also includes a custom home configuration model, enabling sales and design-center agents to configure homes on the fly and keep track of the customer-selected options in a single repository.

Designed and developed a WAP application for airline booking using WML, WMLS, XML, and XSLT with an SQL Server 2000 back-end, utilizing Galileos XML Select product. XML Select is a structured data application-programming interface (API). It allows for the integration of data directly from the Apollo system to create customized, high-volume server-based applications with structured data.

As Lead Developer, was responsible for the design, development, and implementation of an extranet/intranet. Presentation layer of this system uses ASP, server-side VBScript, and client-side Java-script; backend is an ORACLE 8i database, alternate transactional layer supports EDI. System was designed to allow BIGs clients to track complete Purchase Order process for all of their properties worldwide.
