As a Project Manager contracted by the United States Space Force, I am responsible for the planning, execution, and completion of more than 80 projects as part of the Spaceport of the Future (SPotF) Program, which aims to update & reorganize launch operation facilities across both the Cape Canaveral and Patrick Space Force Stations, as well as Kennedy Space Center. Projects include construction, renovations, and repairs of: buildings & roadways, water mains, sewer force mains, lift stations, and conversion of electrical lines from overhead to underground. Several projects involve construction of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), with the goal being to consolidate personnel and operations, allowing for a seamless increased launch cadence in the future in the coming years.

As a Project Inspector, I am responsible for monitoring site operations and tracking construction activities on a variety of projects, including new bridge and roadway construction, roadway resurfacing and widening, dredging operations, and more. I inspect existing utilities, elevations, and other roadway features shown in design plans. I develop tracking systems for personnel work time and expertise, quantities, environmental conditions, and budgeting, as well as project-specific requirements.

As an Project Engineer, I am responsible for plans production for engineering design projects of minor and major improvement projects for municipal clients. I am also responsible for the design of pedestrian and drainage features for a building renovation project & plans production to support a milling and resurfacing design, along with the addition of two-way left-turn lanes (TWLTs). I support Public Involvement activities for the widening of several State Roads, as well as Task Work Order administration for continuing contracts related to enhanced traffic operations, traffic engineering, and transportation planning. Additional design responsibilities include: complete intersections (modifications or addition of amenities like signalization, additional lanes, drainage, stormwater treatment, pedestrian access utilization, etc.), improvements in earthwork and drainage structures, and parking lot pavement markings.
