I was Co-founder and CTO of PageDNA for its first 14 years. In Oct 2013 I acheived an exit and successfully transitioned out of the company, leaving the other two co-founders in a great technical position.The company is built on the platforms and code that I wrote, including: * Developed web-to-print engine (including writing Python<->Ghostscript layer) with templating system that leverages Python for best-in-industry flexibility, despite having 1/10th-1/100th the resources of competitors* Extensive web-based administration system* Created shipping system with real-time quoting, or user driven tables, with package size estimation* Created an advanced forms library with strong compositive features* Developed one of the first live cXML punchouts using Ariba* Structured and implemented a PCI compliant security plan* Developed a seamless Mediawiki-based help system which gave Authors freedom to code whilekeeping implementation secure and visually consistent* Led overhaul of print templating UI to be visual with draggable elements, AJAX, floating dialogs and more* Created a genetic algorithm-driven shipping estimation system capable of checking out orders with 1000s of individual shipments on a single order* Analyzed and implemented dozens of integrations: credit card payment gateways, UPS, Fedex, cXML punchout/invoicing/ASNs, SAML2, FTP watchfolder based, EDI, SOAP, QuickBooks, MYOB, XeroI also made significant contributions to the operations and sales side:* Wrote contracts and led negotiations with all of PageDNA's larger customers* Closed several key deals* Revamped web site and marketing plan in 2009-2010* Helped streamline operations and boosted profitability starting in 2009, growing company from 10 to 24 people and almost tripling revenue by 2013* Migrated from MYOB to Xero, taking advantage of Xero's API to dramatically improve automation of billing
