Let me be honest, I'm still figuring out business, leadership and truthfully life as I go. But who isn't? I love the challenge of it all, pushing myself and those around me to be better than we were yesterday. I'd like to think that people would describe me as an entrepreneur, leader, community focused and just a fun guy to have around. I'm super passionate about the work we do at Blue Moose Media. We get the opportunity to work with all types of businesses throughout Saskatchewan (for-profit, non-profit and charities) in every industry to help them achieve their business objectives using a variety of digital marketing platforms. We have the best team at Blue Moose who share the same passion to make a difference and help every client that comes through our program. Before life at Blue Moose, I worked in a variety of industries including financial services, insurance, government, but am probably most known for my work supporting the Parkinson community. As a volunteer, I founded and chaired the Lows in Motion Parkinson "Shaker" for 10 years. What started as a small town event grew into one of Canada's largest and arguably funnest Parkinson fundraisers hosting crowds upwards of 1200 people per year and raising over $650,000 for Parkinson Canada. A few years into leading Lows in Motion, I was honoured to accept the Executive Director position for the provincial charity we were raising money for. As a young leader, it was the steepest learning curve I could have asked for. For 4 years, I worked with local, provincial and national stakeholders to both raise money and develop programs to improve the lives of people with Parkinson's disease. It was beyond rewarding and I'm proud of the growth and impact we were able to accomplish as an organization during that time. I feel very fortunate to have a well versed background which I'm happy to tap into when consulting or mentoring our clients at Blue Moose Media.
