After spending eight years as a math teacher at Milton High School, I decided to take on the challenge of becoming a web developer. An opportunity presented itself in the summer of 2018 in the form of Burlington Code Academy, Vermont's first coding school. I am currently enrolled at BCA, where I am learning the skills of being a web developer. I have been having a great time learning JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. We are also getting familiar with JSON, AJAX, and other web development tools.I believe that upon completion I will bring a unique skillset given my background in education and my passion for mathematics, programming, and the learning process.
