I am a fourth year college student studying Data Science at UC Berkeley. I enjoy working on tasks/projects where I can design programs that contribute to large projects and analyzing datasets, especially ones centered around business or the economy. I am looking to work in primarily Data Engineering roles but, I am also open to data analysis or data science. I would like to work in either the public or private sector.I have experience programming in 4 languages: Java, Python, SQL, and C++. I have experience building queries in PostgreSQL and with Python I have also practiced with the Numpy, Pandas, Seaborn, and Pyplot libraries for exploratory data analysis on large datasets and other applications such as data visualization, running simulations/bootstrapping , A/B testing, and creating predictive models and classifiers. I have also created a couple of projects in Java that required me to design algorithms, use multiple APIs, and create test cases to avoid bugs. I also have an AA in Mathematics and Economics/ Accounting, where I have been able to practice: abstract thinking and problem solving through proof based classes, reading and creating financials statements, and learned some basic theory in economics.
