Working with the Knowledge Management team, I act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Reporting and Analysis. I am responsible for Reports which are greatly impactful due to their ability to influence decision making. These reports are created from composite metrics extracted from a variety of sources, so we can have deep analysis of business demands. The insights provided by this have proven to be a great success in not only cementing our conversion from project into a service, but to ensure the long term development of the team.I use a combination of Excel, Power Query, Power BI, PowerShell scripting and some internally developed tools which I have contributed too continually, maintained and developed.I am also involved with providing guidance and insight into establishing the architecure and structure a new database created for our team. This has made use of my SQL knowledge and extensive Network Architecture knowledge.

Working as a Project Leader, I provide direction and guidance for our Service/Project, while simultaneously acting as a direct link between management and operations. There is a great deal of variance in a position such as this, handling everything from directly developing Powershell scripts, to architectural direction for databases and at times, directly managing a group of nearly 60 people. As I am not at liberty to discuss exact particulars of the project work, I will disclose what is possible. On a daily basis, I attend and host various meetings on the differing functions of our projects. The project(s) in which I am working, I provide guidance to all of our workstreams but Reporting and Analysis in particular. I guide the team to extract, analyze, interpret and report on Service Desk functionality. Using this data, we create a more streamlined service which is used to reduce the overall vulnerabilities. Through this project, we have saved an astonishing amount of money by targetting vulnerabilities that have the greatest impacts and work towards fixing them. I also regularly meet with working groups to discuss the state of Reporting and Analysis, providing insight on how effective our operational efforts have been at maximizing cost-effectiveness where possible. Additionally, I have also spent a great deal of time architecting, implementing and managing our database which is used to collect this information. I have created scripts for infrastructure using Powershell which help manage the extraction and organization of the data. Additionally, this project is nominated for an Award of Excellence within the CRA as a direct result of our efforts.

• Worked at numerous high-profile sites in the GTA which included City of Brampton Mobile Patrol, contracted to Toronto Community Housing Committee for security and Humber College campus security.• Worked with emergency services during events to provide a safe environment and as well during emergencies when I would be first onsite to situations ranging from medical emergencies, fires, and violent situations. • Dealt with conflicts and applied de-escalation techniques while working with the public, representing the public image of both employer and clients.• Efficiently took note of all occurrences for report writing while in incredibly high pressure/stressful situations.

• Responsible for arranging customs clearance and delivery of shipments of ocean containers, air freight and local truck deliveries. • Managing a workflow system to handle clearance and deliveries, we would constantly deal with issues. Troubleshooting problems was integral in nearly every facet of the work. • Effectively researching and applying legislation to get cheaper rates of duty, delivery fees or anything to creatively reduce overhead was a constant in the workplace.
