Led team performing analysis, design, development, test, and deep support of SAP and web-based applications managing HP’s $15B services business worldwide. Applications developed and supported provided order management to invoicing and entitlement processes based largely on SAP systems. Managed several large strategic engagements for HP's automotive services group as well as other HP teams. Duties included sales, pricing, contract negotiation, and management of budget, schedule, deliverables, and customer satisfaction:• Bamerindus Bank (now HSBC) systems re-engineering project. Team developed an object-oriented system to replace bank's mainframes with 15 distributed client server banking applications. $64M project was largest HP consulting engagement to date. Managed distributed team of 220. Relocated to Brazil for this engagement. Project was cancelled after HSBC acquisition.• FIAT and Volvo Automotive Diagnostic Systems programs. Team developed PC based diagnostic systems for dealerships. Projects generated over $50M of revenue with referencable customers.• Motorola Iridium Program. Team developed manufacturing test systems for Iridium satellites. Program was challenged by cutting edge technology for global cellular service, but ultimately delivered quality satellites into orbit.• GM Truck and Bus Cell Controller Program. Led testing team for project installing new shop floor controllers in a brand new GM facility.• GM30 Program. Led team installing and supporting shop floor test systems for new GM factory and new models with first ever on-board displays and touch screens.
