Began as project manager for the Oracle Application Server in its infancy. Promoted to leadtest engineer for the DCM command line user interface component. Later promoted to software development manager and then to senior software development manager. In my final role at Oracle, I was a Senior Principal Program Manager in the Beta Programs Office.* Lead the development of an automated test framework that decreased the time to test the distributed configuration management (DCM) from a full week to approximately 5 hours* Managed a team of up to 17 of software development engineers and managers that together were responsible for all test development, execution and automation of multiple components in the Fusion Middleware product line. These included the Oracle HTTP Server (Apache based), OC4J (J2EEcontainer), Webcache, OTD, Javacache, Diagnostic Framework, Dynamic Monitoring Service, and all logging and diagnostics for the WebLogic Server* Managed the design and implementation of an automated distributed testing framework which reduced the time to test from 6 days to 12 hours for the DCM command line user interface and repository management* Tracked and analyzed bug metrics from both external and internal customers to look for problem areas and determine where additional development and testing may be required

Artisoft was best known for their LANtastic line of peer-to-peer networking software. Initially hired as an IT contractor, I was asked to join the software development group with responsibility for administering the beta test program. Within six months I was managing the program, and went on to create and manage both the release management and Y2K programs.* Managed all aspects of the Beta Test Program including test site recruitment, contract execution, technical support, bug filing, validation and feedback, reporting and presentation * Evolved the program from running on a 6-node dial-up BBS, to a secured Internet-based BBS and eventually phased out the BBS as the World Wide Web became more readily available * Managed all software project releases from development and test scheduling, to BOM creation through release to manufacturing * Defined and implemented Artisoft's Y2K program, including policy and certification matrix, as well as all customer communication * Managed the integration of usability testing into the release process and participated in the creation of usability lab procedures and program design * Received multiple awards for "Customer Focus" and cost reduction programs through process evaluation and streamlining

MK-Ferguson was one of three engineering and construction firms involved in the decommissioning of the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Power Plant. While working on this project I was responsible for managing all administrative and IT operations for the mechanical engineering staff and maintaining the small network.* Setup and maintained the Banyan VINES network as well as provided desktop setup and support for the engineering staff * Responsible for all document generation, change order processing and management of the punched aperture card system used to store the plant's engineering drawings * Required to pass nuclear safety and security training including radiation exposure avoidance and terrorist threat response
