I have worked with IT for 20+ years. My focus and drive is to help, guide and/or assist others. No task is to big and no task is to little. Throughout my entire career, I have primarily worked on and with MS Windows platforms. I initially started as a 1st and 2nd level end-user supporter in the early days of the MS Windows platform. Since then I specialized, working with MS Windows servers and MS Backoffice products.In the second half of my career at IBM, I gradually received more and more administrative tasks and responsibilities. My last roles at IBM was as Team lead and Resource manager for a server team which participated in many different projects.I have since July 2016 been employed at EG A/S as a Defect manager working on a large public sector project. In this role I have defined and implemented defect related processes. I have set up and configured the test tool and educated both own colleagues and the testers from the customer in the use of the test tool. I report to management, steering committee and Project manager. And I host Defect board meetings where the identified defects are discussed with Test manager from the customer.I have collaborated with a lot of different people including users who saw a PC for their first time, visually impaired users and teams/colleagues from a lot of different countries like eg. China, India, Poland, the Nordics and US. I have had the pleasure of working with clients from the public sector and the financial, pharmaceutical and retail business.My spare time is spent on my family, my hobbies and in the local badminton club in which I’m currently volunteering as president of the youth department, assisting coach and web master.
