Invited to assume a new role. As a Production Manager my main goal is to ensure that the production processes run reliably and efficiently along the entire value chain. The responsibilities of the job include: planning and organizing production schedules, as well as, assessing project and resource requirements; estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers; determining quality control standards; overseeing production processes and re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary; and, finally, organizing relevant training sessions.

Coordinating and managing a team of young engineers and drafters - provided technical support and preparation of principles schemes for heating, cooling and ventilation solution); and also met with the clients in order to tailor the project solutions to their requirements.

In the scope of the MBA Final Project, he was invited to assess the R&D Department of Bosch Braga in order to identify the limitations and constraints that could impact the sustainable growth of the Engineering Department for the next five years, and provide recommendations that could mitigate those and support the expected growth for the future.

Started as a trainee and after one year became an HVAC junior Engineer. The first year in the company were used to learn and consolidate knowledge regarding the role: Dimensioning of Cooling, Heating and Domestic Hot Water Systems (Chillers, Heat Pumps, Boilers and VRV), of pipping network and of normal and emergency ventilation systems. Also provided technical support to the Building Management System (BMS) project as well to the other specialties to ensure the coordination of the project regarding the different Engineering Specialties. In 2012, took the opportunity of become the responsible of the department for Building Energy Simulation. Besides doing Dynamic Simulations of Building and Sustainability Studies (Façade, Energy Production Systems, etc.), also was accountable for creating “work-flows” and excel spreadsheets in order to standardized some procedures and improve in terms of efficiency and productivity. In 2014, it was given him the chance of becoming Project Director. As a Project Director elaborated descriptive reports, technical specifications and budget estimates to support the project.
