TRI is an incredibly important non-profit that dramatically changes lives. My leadership role allows me to work alongside TRI's awesome team of professionals and volunteers as champion of our shared mission to increase outreach, support, organizational management and sustainable growth. I am uniquely blessed to live, breathe and work (!) my passion while enriching our community. Our programs reach persons from 4 to 80+ years old with a variety of challenges. Founded in 1984, this 501(c)(3) organization is a recognized leader in the field of therapeutic horseback riding. The 46 acre location features indoor and outdoor arenas, heated stalls, and 24/7 on-site staff. We reach individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, ADHD, sensory integration disorder, Angelman syndrome, vision and hearing impairments, traumatic brain injury and PTSD. Riders form a special bond with their horses while improving balance, increasing muscle strength, growing communication and social skills, self-esteem and confidence. We welcome new participants and volunteers and supporters.

Board of Directors President ,since January 2015, and board member since 2002 for this Detroit-based 501(c)3 non-profit corporation that provides award-winning H.U.D. housing in Detroit, meals-on-wheels programs in Livingston and Oakland counties, community technology training centers and local day-camps for children.Responsibilities include clarifying mission, developing strategy, evaluating program performance, fiscal accountability, and working with 5 direct reports that include program managers, consultants and management companies.Significant Accomplishments:* Implemented board member training and officer succession plan to reduce board turn-over and revitalize commitment to mission* Currently developing a digital marketing campaign to increase awareness and increase funding* Leading a tax-credit re-structuring process to fund major facility renovations and provide additional funding for new and expanded programs.

Watch and prepare to be awestruck! -Built and managed all financial, accounting, payroll, benefits, shipping, receiving, inventory management, purchasing, A/P & A/R practices in this venture capital-funded tech start-up beginning day one,, adjusting to accommodate constantly changing priorities and capital resources.-Delivered a new office and manufacturing facility to accommodate exponential growth and managed the 35,000 sq ft renovation while managing all other responsibilities. Moved each of the company's 2 segments to the new facility within 6 months of project initiation.-Interfaced with engineering staff, office staff, human resources and C-suite to maintain an optimistic, energetic culture and collaborative environment, including daily catered lunches, fully stocked snack bar and team bulding events outside work hours.

First hire to this newly-minted division of Conway Freight - division was eliminated when XPO acquired Conway less than 1 year later.- Tracked customer solution from initial contact through solution implementation- Gathered data and inputs, internally and remotely from engineering, operations, sales, IT and Pricing- Optimized solution development process to meet RFP deadlines- Generated process templates, designed content and prepared custom proposals- Created and maintained graphic visual tracking of sales pipeline in Senior Exec conference room

Built a start-up bulk supply yard into the top-producing bulk supply in a 20-mile radius in male-dominated industry - Developed business strategy, implemented ay-to-day processes to support strategic goals- Partnered with local landscape design and installation firms to develop more durable and appealing products- Drafted sales proposals, negotiated bids, contracted pricing agreements, established terms, performed collections- Provided C-Corp accounting from transaction through balance sheet-Implement appointment-based deliveries and achieved 98% accuracy to 15 minute window year after year.- Posted, interviewed, and hired then mentored an coached workforce for flawless customer service

Elected official to public school board, then elected by board members first to vice president then president role. Led community and district in successful millage election to purchase property and build a new high school. Negotiated property purchase and contractor and timeline to construct and open the new facility.
