My leadership role allows me to work alongside TRI's awesome team of professionals and volunteers as champion of our shared mission to increase outreach, support, organizational management and sustainable growth. I am uniquely blessed to live, breathe and work (!) my passion while enriching our community. Our programs reach persons from 4 to 80+ years old with a variety of challenges. Founded in 1984, this 501(c)(3) organization is a recognized leader in the field of therapeutic horseback riding. The 46 acre location features indoor and outdoor arenas, heated stalls, and 24/7 on-site staff. We reach individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, ADHD, sensory integration disorder, Angelman syndrome, vision and hearing impairments, traumatic brain injury and PTSD. Riders form a special bond with their horses while improving balance, increasing muscle strength, growing communication and social skills, self-esteem and confidence. We welcome new participants and volunteers and supporters.
