I have always had an interest in the construction industry, & worked my way in & up over the last 15+ years. I have enjoyed learning, & being a part of, many divisions & in different roles along the way. I enjoy the process, structure, & field team environment that I have come to call my second home. Being onsite, taking a front row part in the creation of a structure or space, is something I truly take pleasure & pride in. I've worked with multiple personalities, positions, in different office conditions, & varying commutes. Each has had their ups & downs, but it's still overall an industry that I continue to thrive in & enjoy. From making the contributions to my onsite team's snack habits, to taking ownership of finding a special light fixture for over a bar in a world class stadium, from sweating out days in a jobsite office, to being numb from the cold during a groundbreaking ceremony in 19 degree weather... I look back at so many experiences proud to say they've helped get me to where I am today. I'm confident that I do a kickass job helping my team. I have friendships, second family, & a wealth of experience that's been cultivated by every person I've been able to work with along the way; My mentors that took me under their wing to show me the ropes, or take a chance on me, & each of my teams that have shared knowledge, laughs, & struggles. Everyone finds their niche, & I feel mine is in the construction industry; being the hub for my office, group, project & field teams, keeping the team on track, materials & documents flowing, & the overall project structure on point. I've built a positive reputation within my workplace, to be the go-to person, trainer, confidant, support system, & second-set-of-eyes for new hires & experienced team members alike. Currently part of a team developing our 'university' of processes & procedures, so, with all this, I guess I'm doing something right :)
