A&E Architecten forms part of BAM Advies & Engineering, an engineering and consultancy office with over 110 employees in various professional disciplines. As a result, A&E Architecten has a unique position in the market as it has access to a variety of competences, which are available in-house. Projects are handled integrally. Together with all disciplines from the engineering and construction process, including structural engineers, sustainability specialists, MEP technicians, cost experts, etc., we apply BIM and Systems Engineering to safeguard the technical quality and optimise consultation on all our projects. This work method is interwoven into our daily processes and typifies the way in which we develop designs for our customers.

Participated with 3D BluePrint in CORPUS design project in the Netherlands. www.3dblueprint.nl www.corpus-experience.nlDuring the design process, the contractor was aware of problems in the design and coordination between the data from the various parties. After the definitive design phase 3D Blueprint was requested to integrate the different disciplines into a 3D model to show and solve design problems.Work with 3D BluePrint involved the development of integral 3D Building Information Models (3D BIM) in order to oversee projects throughout the various stages, starting from initial design right up to project completion. Worked in collaboration with external architects, engineers and other technical advisors. All relative information was then combined into a 3D BIM in order to facilitate the project development.At 3D BluePrint I have also coordinated the execution of our projects together with our subsidiary in India.

Went to 3D BluePrint India as a trainer to instruct and improve the standard of working practice. Knowledge transfer involved the setting up and execution of AllPlan workshops and general business practice.Meanwhile, I was supervising and assisting ongoing projects (Zuidschans, Amsterdam and Ravenweg, Apeldoorn, Netherlands)

Worked in collaboration with structural engineer on various projects. These major projects include the upgrade of the Maltese road network financed under the Fifth Italian Maltese Protocol, design and construction projects for an International beverage manufacturer and a major supermarket franchise. Minor projects cover a broad range from completing tenders to building redevelopment.

After my fourth year at the University of Malta, I worked with Malta`s leading construction company to gain experience. Work involved architectural related jobs such as altering AutoCAD drawings and filling in tender documents.

Since I am very interested in architectural restoration, I decided to do some field work to gain hands-on experience in the field.After my second year at the University of Malta, I joined the Restoration Unit. Work involved cleaning of the interior of the vault at Lapsi Church, St Julians, Malta
