I report to the Sr VP of Enterprise Architecture.I co-led the migration and refactoring of our construction estimating and takeoff products to the Azure Cloud Platform, completing the transition Q3 2024. I'm a member of the enterprise architecture team, we provide direction and enablement of software architecture and engineering strategies. Built a awesome MES software system that was put through the wringer by a top Tier 1 supplier. It was chosen to be the MES standard beating out well known competitors based on it's functionality and ease-of-use.The system was built using C#.Net, ASP.Net and MS SQL Server, the messaging is pure TCP/IP socket based protocol that resulted in the system being incredibly fast and scalable. It has a built in OPC communications layer to provide additional connectivity to PLC's via Kepware, RSLinx, Matrikon etc...
