This program is a collaboration between the CT DPH and University of St Joseph (formerly St Joseph College) to provide Nutrition education to SNAP-eligible clients at various sites throughout CT. My role is to coordinate educators, sites and educational materials.

I work with the Health Navigators risk reduction team as the Registered Dietitian, providing an 8 week intensive Nutrition and lifestyle change program for those identified "at risk" for cardiovascular disease. See the website for details http://www.ovationbenefits.com/wellnessprograms.php

I worked with the Farmington Valley Health District on a Heart healthy program funded by a DPH Cardiovascular disease prevention grant. This allowed me to continue working with the schools on their wellness programs and provide hands on education to families to decrease their risk of developing heart disease.

Worked as part of an interdisciplinary staff development team providing education to the staff, patients and community. Also responsible for oversight of the clinical nutrition staff and practice.
