I assisted clients with mitigation and conservation services, including evaluating properties for potential conservation value, facilitating preserve establishment including preparing long-term preserve management plans and conservation easements, and preparing restoration / mitigation and monitoring plans. I worked closely with local HCPs, agencies, and land trusts to navigate the mitigation process. I also assisted clients with mitigation banking services and monitoring/management of preserves and banks. My areas of biological expertise include ecology and restoration of native grassland, riparian, and vernal pool communities, and invasive plant management.Areas of regulatory expertise include Clean Water Act Section 404 and 401, Endangered Species Act Section 7, State Water Resources Board Dredge and Fill Procedures, CDFW Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreements, and the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan. In addition, I co-led an internal ECORP team which analyzes new environmental regulations and proposed legislation in order to keep clients informed of upcoming changes.

Presented research at scientific and technical conferences (e.g. SERCAL, Cal-IPC, ESA). Wrote grant proposals, acquired and managed research budget.
