As the Vice President of External Affairs at Jubilee Housing, I lead strategic initiatives to enhance community engagement and advocacy for affordable housing. With a strong background in public relations, fundraising, and policy development, I am dedicated to fostering partnerships and securing resources to support our mission. My work focuses on promoting environmental justice, driving impactful change, and building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders. Passionate about community development, I strive to create sustainable and inclusive solutions for the communities we serve.

Initially elected in 2016 with 43% of the vote for a 2-year term; re-elected in 2018 [unopposed] carrying 95% of all ballots casted. Proudly representing approximately 2,000 residents in Single Member District 7F01.Advisory Neighborhood Commissions are bodies of local government in Washington, D.C. Created in 1974 through a District referendum in the District of Columbia Home Rule Act. ANC's are responsible for considering a wide range of policies and programs affecting the neighborhoods of 2000 constituents. These areas include traffic, parking, recreation, street improvements, liquor licenses, zoning, economic development, police protection, sanitation and trash collection, and the District's annual budget.
