Program Manager for multi-year bond construction program for the Oxnard School District (K-8). Responsibilities include program/project planning, program/project budget management, program/project schedule management, contract management, coordinating/managing design consultants, coordinating/managing construction contractors, contract development & procurement, project programming, project design management, client support services, etc.Measure "R" bond approved $90 in public construction financing, in addition to other local funds for a total Phase 1 project budget of ~$114M. Projects range from simple classroom modernization, to complete demolition and reconstruction of existing schools, to acquisition of new sites for new school construction ground up. Program management responsibilities also include coordination of comprehensive educational program enhancements including District-wide grade reconfiguration, establishment of STEAM Academies, deployment of 1:1 handheld devices to all students. Oxnard School District is leading the way in integrated educational planning and facilities improvements to facilitate 21st Century Learning environments.
