Tom Milford joined Savoy Properties in February of 2009, moving to commercial real estate brokerage from commercial real estate development. Prior to his work at Savoy, Tom held positions at Stocker Construction and Opus Northwest—where he was involved in construction management as well as underwriting new commercial development deals. While with Opus, Tom was heavily involved in the development of the Park East Tower, a $90 million condominium tower, the first high-rise residential building to be built in the city of St. Louis in over 30 years. At Savoy, Tom began his experience in brokerage with several office and warehouse listings and has been focused on adding more listings while representing his clients in their lease negotiations. Tom is a 2004 graduate of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, where he earned a B.S. in Finance and Real Estate. In addition to his work at Savoy, Tom is a member of the St. Louis Association of Realtors/Commercial Division and currently coaches high school water polo.

Mr. Milford oversees pro forma development and management for prospective projects. He has significant responsibilities related to the production, underwriting and implementation of new development opportunities. In addition, he monitors ongoing project performance and is responsible for the financial reporting for the St. Louis office of Opus Northwest. Mr. Milford has been able to apply his finance and development skills in creating complex pro forma structures for various multi-phase and mixed-use projects, including the deal structures for the Park East Lofts and the Kraus Farm Office Center in Chesterfield, MO. The financial models Mr. Milford developed have been critical in determining project value and expected return, and have been implemented in several Opus offices as tools to underwrite complex projects.
