My role as the Manager for the Product Strategy Office for Sony VAIO was to collaborate closely with Tokyo’s product planning group and different groups (engineering, marketing and business development) within Sony Electronics Inc.• Collaborated with the product planning group in Tokyo and the engineering group at Sony Electronics in the US to manage the product roadmap development and implementation of VAIO applications such as Media Gallery, PlayMemories Home, and VAIO Care which were installed in 90% of most VAIO PCs. • Led internal focus groups to provide feedback to product planning in Tokyo on particular software applications

As the Sr. Manager of Marketing and Business Development for Nissho Electronics USA (NEA) I led and managed the introduction of key data storage leaders such as Pillar Data Systems (now Oracle), 3PAR Data Systems (now HP), Alacritus (now NetApp) and Arkivio (now Rocket Software) to the Japanese market.

I held multiple successful sales positions at JD Edwards (now Oracle) selling Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, Sales Force Automation (SFA) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions to foreign multinational firms in Tokyo, Japan from 1996-1998 and to Japanese enterprises in California from 1998-2000.
