As a Family Engagement Manager, I lead a team of three, and we together, help to support the efforts of Peter Paul Development Center by engaging the family, and empowering the East End community with an asset based and strengths perspective. The Family Engagement Team works to strengthen, uplift, and educate families through iniatives such as Promise Family Network, Community Action Network, Senior Program, and Z-Life young adult program.

Her passions are connected to helping to support individualized and or community level change specifically surrounding mental health and wellness of the black community.Additional topics of expertise include trauma coupled with black male masculinity, strong black woman phenomenon, and culturally responsive strategies to advance culturally responsive practices to address common issues in the Black community such as co-parenting, divorce, blended families, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

Manage daily operations of the Teen Center to include coordinating logistics around programs, transportation, personnel management, etc. Work with Teen Center Operations Manager, program partners, community organizations, and key BGCMR staff to establish programs and activities, and align with organizational goals and objectives.
