As Country Manager, I lead and directed the Thunderbird operations in Peru which consist of up to 13 properties (6 hotels, 5 casinos, 1 spa, and wellness center)Responsible for all aspects of the organization which has reached up to 1609 employees. Reported directly to the board which consists of the senior level management of the International holding company on all aspects of business in South America.Revenue growth of 300% since July 2007. Raised funds and purchased a local gaming company for $13M which turned into an extremely successful acquisition. Sold 5 hotel properties for over $40M USD in four separate transactions. Operated 3 of the 5 hotels sold via management contracts. Managed the Fiesta hotel, spa, gym and casino projects and openings with a total investment of $24M within this emblematic Lima property. Managed up to 27 projects including both new and renovations. Turned around a very complex financial structure which resulted in positive P&L, cash flow and greatly improved equity stake.

This report requires communication with all department heads.
