As Athletic Director, I strongly believe that many of life’s most important lessons and habits can be learned through participation in extra-curricular activities. Attributes such as work ethic, dependability, leadership, perseverance, teamwork, and self-discipline can all be developed while playing sports. Interscholastic sports are a vital part in the educational experience. I firmly believe that participation in interscholastic sports helped shape me as a young man and that it can do the same for the student-athletes that I work with.My goal as an Athletic Director is to instill character, confidence, composure, sportsmanship, and integrity into our student-athletes. I believe it is my duty to support my coaching staff and student-athletes, while helping however I am able to. My goal is to build a program that represents its school and community with dignity, class, and pride.My goal as a physical education teacher is to help students discover and enjoy a variety of ways to be physically active. It is my duty to help them gain an appreciation for physical activity and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle that they will carry with them as long as they live. Physical education is also a great tool to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect for other students - regardless of ability level and background.I have aspirations of working in athletic administration at the collegiate level in the future.
