Concurrently held three executive/leadership positions within the organization, a privately-held, full-service, real estate developer comprised of four primary companies: Stough Development Corporation; SDC Design, Inc.; Stough Properties; and Barbara Stough InteriorsAs Director of Real Estate Development: Was in responsible charge of all site selection, real property acquisition, due diligence, project entitlement and property management activities. Hired and directed all commercial real estate brokers, attorneys and due diligence consultants. Negotiated and executed all purchase & sale agreements on behalf of the Group’s various ownership entities. Served as each project’s primary “public face advocate” to local private and public stakeholders and in public hearing presentationsAs Vice President for all of the Group's corporate entities (over 40 Inc's, LP's and LLC's): Managed a portfolio consisting of more than one-half million square feet of real property assets located in 14 U.S. States and the Cayman Islands (BWI). Negotiated and executed all owner-contractor agreements and commercial leases/renewals on behalf of the various ownership/landlord entities. Hired and directed all commercial leasing agents, attorneys, vendors & consultants. Managed all aspects of each landlord’s lease obligations while ensuring tenant compliance. Managed, as direct reports, the Property Management department (consisting of the Property Manager and all in-house Facility Maintenance staff)As Principal of the Group’s architecture & planning firm (SDC Design, Inc.): Led and directed each A/E/C project team. Negotiated and executed all owner-architect and architect-consultant agreements on behalf of the firm. Managed, as direct reports, the Design Management department (consisting of the Design Manager and all in-house architecture staff)Held licenses in 21 U.S. States and the Province of Ontario
