Almost all big questions in business and life can be answered by data and analyzing these kinds of complex questions is a passion of mine. I want to utilize my skills as a data scientist to build a better future while helping companies tackle their biggest problems. As an entrepreneur, I saw how valuable data analysis can be to the success of a business firsthand and being able to analyze and interpret it in real-time is paramount. I would closely evaluate the data coming in from our job leads and decipher which neighborhoods and zip codes wanted our services the most and then focus our marketing efforts in those areas. One day I was assessing the job lead data and noticed that one zip code continuously searched for "tree debris removal", but we weren't getting any job bookings. So I sent one of our trucks to the neighborhood to investigate, and within 5 minutes of driving through the neighborhood, we had several clients ask us if they could use our services for debris removal from the storm. Also, as a Customer Success Manager for a SaaS company, I constantly asked myself questions about how users interacted with our software. I also personally started collecting data and running SQL queries to assess user activity to help generate client health scores. This helped us better understand who was using the software well and who needed help. These burning questions on how we could gather the data needed to improve our software for the end user ultimately led me to the path of Data Science. When I'm not working, I love to travel and explore new cultures. I have been to five continents and look forward to checking off another one as soon as possible. Also, I really enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, golfing and skiing. I am currently looking for opportunities, so please feel free to reach out to me and start a conversation!

Project EngineerEastern Fabrication, Inc. Jun 2009 - Jul 2010As a Project Engineer at Eastern Fabrication, I worked under a Professional Engineer designing steel structures to meet required load specifications and composed associated shop drawings for various commercial construction projects using AutoCAD.
