Programs operate in approximately 100 health and human service institutions, across the United States aimed at community health and health systems equity through addressing social determinants of health and the underlying structurally oppressive policies and procedures at the institutional, local, state and national level that lead to health disparities and other social and economic injustice. Through my leadership, the programs I oversee currently have doubled in size and geographic reach from 4 to 11 U.S. cities/region.Build partnerships with private, nonprofit, and government leaders to secure funding to support and expand programming focused on health disparities and underlying root systemic causes in health/public health institutions throughout the nation. These activities resulted in numerous groundbreaking research findings and reports, improved health, social and educational policies and programs, and a UN Women and UNICEF best practice action-research intervention and policy development model that I co-designed and facilitated trainings on throughout the Global South.
