Cloud IT was formally an innovative Startup between Nelnet and myself called Cost Effective Technologies. Together, they created Floor99. Floor99 was a SaaS solution leveraging many Open Source tools to create a new way for businesses to adopt cloud computing. In 2014, Firespring and Cost Effective Technologies merged to leverage the combined relationships to deliver this SaaS product in conjunction with traditional IT Services. Over the past several years, Firespring, Clout IT has emerged as a leader in supporting many small to medium sized IT networks in the regional area. Today, we focus on a very specific niche in delivering these services to clients. At our core, we operate as their IT Service department and helpesk support.

I provided hands-on management and support for Nelnet. Position includes design, development, and implementation of all network infrastructure hardware and software components for a dynamic environment. Over saw the management of all servers, messaging, LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless,NetApp storage, security and co-location environments. Will provide service and support to mission critical application systems to insure 100% uptime in a 24X7 environment. During my time with Nelnet, I assisted in the design and development of a large scale cloud computing platform. This is now called Floor99 and was subsequently ended up being another product offering of Nelnet. I stepped away from my duties to lead this new venture.
