Eltel Group is a leading Nordic field service provider for communication and power networks. Eltel is 800 million EUR in net sales and 5 000 persons in size, Finland being the largest country unit with 300 million EUR net sales and 1 500 persons.Role was a combination of strategic work, tactical leadership and operative execution: focusing as COO to follow up and develop the country unit’s service production businesses performance and efficiency. Together with the CFO, supporting Country Unit CEO with hands-on daily activities, monthly performance reviews for P&L and cash flow steering, annual target setting cycle and deployment actions. Direct organization roughly below 100 persons in following organizations: Sourcing & Logistics, Business IT, Development, QEHS, and Service Center. Service Center included multitude of centralized work of the order-to-delivery process and for example a 24/7 network monitoring service. As a part of the country unit executive team, my role was responsible to drive competitive vision through development of operational activities and strategy implementation, reporting to Country Chief Executive Officer.
